Last year Jen came in a surprise visit to Oz - it was great!! we managed to hang out for a few days before I went home for Christmas (where I got to see her again a few weeks later!)One of the best things we did in her visit was hit up the Koala Sanctuary in Brisbane. I’m just about to leave this hostel that I have been calling ‘home’ (base) for the last few weeks…and about to join up with a Dragomon tour thingy that will take me through more of Ecuador and Peru…ultimately ending on the top of Machu Pichu just after Christmas. Yes - I AM still alive. The last few days were awesome! On Sat Candice, two fellows named Chris (Chris 1 & Chris 2) and I went to a little town about two hours from Quito named Papallacta. Why? Simple: for great natural hot springs of course!!We ended up splurging (30$/night) and stayed at the resort & spa…massages were really cheap (35$ plus discount). The first night we were ssoooo waterlogged.

36" x 12"These are two paintings I did the other day...both abstract, and neither of them have names yet. My biggest challenge with these was that I did not have any white paint at my Dad's house...so I had to plan every stroke and use water thinning and paint removal techniques in order to have the white show through. 36" x 30"So I'm back at my dad's right now until Sunday doing more packing.
